Well, we are still finding hot spots on the Cavity Lake fire. You can just see a whisp of smoke in the picture to the left. We are getting dry here again it has been two weeks since our last measurable rain. But, we are expecting a wet rainy Labor Day weekend. I canoed part of the fire on Sunday and it's kind of amazing. There is already quite a bit of new growth coming in. Some of it is 2-3' high. It has been over a month since that part of the fire burned.
Anyway, Theresa is still in Wyoming and working hard. She should be home around the 4 of September. She has been snowed on a couple times up in the mountains. Overall things out west are still busy. I may go out after Theresa gets back. But we'll have to see what things look like at that point.
