Well things are starting to get back to normal. We got some rain a couple days ago. Not even close to what we need but enough to lift restrictions and put us back on our normal schedule five 8 hour days rather then 13 eleven hour days. Theresa and I even got our two days off and made a quick trip down to visit the parents and get some groceries.
The Cavity Lake fire is still dragging on. It's been just over a month and they are finding just a couple hotspots every day. I'm sure we will be watching it until we get snow. I'll be back to Seagull by the end of the week to start rehab on the station now that most of the Incident mgmt team is gone and most of the extra trailers have left.
Now that we're back on our normal schedule I can start getting caught up on projects at home. Both trucks need oil changes and the garage needs a good cleaning. Lots of Ragweed this year along the ditch and edges of the yard. Theresa has been having a hard time with that since she is allergic to ragweed. So that will have to be weed whipped. Otherwise Hi to all and stay tuned for more when I have time...
