Monday I helped pull the Wilderness signs off of 5 lakes. It was a pretty interesting day since when we started we could only see about 100 feet through the fog. It was kinda eerie on Sag with no snow left on the ice and virtually no visibility. We actually got a little turned around on Seagull lake and had to pull out the GPS to find where we were going. It's amazing what not being able to pick out any landmarks will do to a person out there. Anyway the sun finally burnt through the fog around noon and it turned out to be a great day. The first two pictures below were taken after the fog began to lift since none a my pictures during the fog were any good.
This coming weekend we're planning a trip down to the cities. Theresa has a wedding shower for her best friend Krista. And it is K One's Birthday. So, hopefully we'll get a chance to go out and have some fun. As of April 1st I go back to doing fire and begin getting things ready for what may be a busy season while on the other hand...This is Minnnesota and things can change awfully quick.....
